Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information AIRS (“we”, “us”), a product of TechGenesys, collects when you use our AI mock-interview service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using AIRS you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash; we never store them in plain text.
- Interview content: the job description and résumé/CV text or files you provide, together with your interview answers (including transcripts of spoken answers) and the feedback and reports we generate for you.
- Interview recordings: while you answer a question out loud we record video from your camera and audio from your microphone, so you can watch your answers back in your debrief. Recordings are made only while an answer is being recorded, never before the interview starts or after it ends. Turning your camera off in the interview room records sound only.
- Payment information: when you subscribe to Pro, payments are handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of a payment and its status, but we do not receive or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic session and log data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: generate questions tailored to your role and résumé, transcribe and evaluate your answers, and produce your feedback and reports.
- To create and manage your account and your subscription.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve how it works.
3. Third-party services we rely on
To deliver core features we send the minimum necessary content to trusted providers:
- An AI language-model provider: to generate questions and evaluate your answers.
- A speech-to-text provider: to transcribe your spoken answers.
- A text-to-speech service, to read questions aloud.
- Cloudflare R2: object storage where your interview recordings are held. Recordings are stored in a private bucket and are played back only through short-lived links issued to you.
- Payment processors (Safepay and Stripe): to process subscription payments securely.
These providers process your content only to perform their function for us.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page; this removes your account and its associated interview sessions from our active systems.
Interview recordings are kept for a limited period and are then deleted automatically; the written debrief for that interview stays in your account either way. Deleting your account deletes your recordings with it.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and serving the site over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account details, and delete your account and data, from within the app. To ask a question about your data or exercise any rights available to you under applicable law, contact us using the details below.
8. Children
AIRS is intended for use by adults preparing for job interviews and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be communicated in-app.
