How the interview works
Read these once — the format matters as much as your answers. They apply to every session, and you'll see them again right before you begin.
- 10 questions
- Drawn from the role and your resume. They get harder as you do well.
- 3 minutes each
- The clock starts with the question. At 0:00 it moves on without your answer.
- Speak or type
- Questions are read aloud. Answer by voice — your words appear live as you speak — or switch to typing.
- Follow-ups
- A thin answer may get probed further on the same topic. Follow-ups don't use up one of your 10.
- Skipping
- You can skip, but it counts as no answer. Attempt something — partial beats silence.
- Afterwards
- You'll get specific feedback on what to work on before the real thing.
Ready when you are
The timer starts with the first question, not the moment you land on the page.
